1. Frequently Asked Questions:

How Much Does It Cost to Start a Blog?
Starting a blog can cost anywhere from absolutely free to several hundred dollars, depending on your goals and the platform you choose. Personally, I use Blogger, which is a completely free option.
However, if you want more control over customization and advanced features, you will need to pay for those options. If you’re okay with basic features, you can stick to the free version, which is reliable and very easy to use.
In my experience, platforms like Blogger are ideal for beginners because they require no financial investment or subscriptions. As I mentioned in another post, they offer a great starting point for anyone looking to dive into blogging.

How long does it take to set up a Blog?
As a beginner, it's normal to grow curious and ask questions to satisfy your desires on something you want to make it become part of you, and questions like how many hours, days it could take to start up your Blog and keep it running and monetized is very normal and necessary to ask.
here is a breaking down of the time commitment for setting up a blog on Blogger, which i am currently using;
Blogger: The Fastest Path - since i the example myself, setting up your blog with Blogger takes about 10 to 20 minutes or can be less. still curious why its so fast? well that is because Blogger is owned by Google, so if you have a Google account, you're halfway there. There's no separate hosting to buy, no software to install, and no domain name to configure unless you want to.
The process is a simple, guided series of steps

Do I need to be coder to start a Blog?
This is a common question among people interested in starting a blog. Many find the technical aspects of getting started quite stressful. Fortunately, the answer is NO; you do not need to be a coder to start a blog. You don’t need to have any coding knowledge or be a tech expert to create one. Surprisingly, the majority of people who start blogs today do so without writing a single line of code. This is because modern blogging platforms like Blogger are designed specifically for non-technical users. The technical elements are built in by Google, so you don't have to worry about that. You can just focus on writing, previewing, and publishing your content..

                      Setting up Your Blog

With Google, Blogger is now a free and user-friendly platform that is perfect for beginners who want to start a blog. All blogs created on blogger are hosted by Google so if you have a Google account, you're already one step ahead! This guide will walk you through the first part of the process: creating your blog.

Step 1: Sign In to Blogger

  1. Open your web browser and go to www.blogger.com. or you can download the Blogger app on your Google Play Store.

  2. If you are not already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in with your Google account. Use the email and password for the Google account you want to use for your blog

Step 2: Create a New Blog

  1. After you sign in, you'll see a page with a button that says "Create your blog", or you may see a list of your existing blogs. If you have no blogs yet, simply click the "Create a new blog" button.

2. A pop-up window will appear asking for some information.

Step 3: Choose a Title for Your Blog

  1. The first thing you need to do is give your blog a title. This is the name that will appear at the top of your blog for your readers to see. It should be catchy and relevant/related to the topic you plan to write about/ the content you will be creating on your blog.

  2. Type your desired title into the "Title" field. You can always change this later if you want.

Step 4: Choose a URL (Web Address) for Your Blog

  1. Next, you need to choose a web address, or URL, for your blog. This is the address that people will type into their browser to find your blog (e.g., yourblogname.blogspot.com).

  2. Type your desired address into the "Address" field.

  3. As you type, Blogger will check if the address is available.

    • If it is available, you will see a checkmark next to the box. Once you find an available address, you are ready for the next step.

    • If the address is already taken, you will see a warning sign and will need to choose a different one. Try adding numbers or a different word to make it unique.

Step 5: Choose a Display Name

  1. Blogger will then ask you to enter a display name. This is the name that will be shown to your readers next to your blog posts. It can be your real name, a nickname, or a pen name.

Step 6: Finalize and Create Your Blog

  1. After you have entered a title, an available address, and a display name, click the "Finish" or "Create blog!" button.

  2. Blogger will take a moment to set up your new blog. You will then be taken to your blog's dashboard, which is your control center.
